New Happiness with New Ear

Because of the accident, Elise Lutz should lose his right ear were destroyed. 14-year-old girl is now happy with her new ears that look a lot like the previous ear.

Elise who was not fatherless and motherless was adopted when she was nine years by Kim Williams and her husband from North Carolina.

Both adoptive parents are trying to find a plastic surgeon at The Anaplastology Clinic in Durham and Duke University Medical Center. And they offer a Prosthetic ear for 6500 pounds sterling made of flexible silicone and is very similar to human skin.

"It will be mounted on forever, but really worth it. I'm very excited, therefore 100 percent happy," said Elise.

Dr. Jerry Schoendorf from Durham Clinic who also is part of a team that handles Elise says, "People who have implants either ear or nose usually will think that the object was indeed part of his body."

At least the ears are made of silicone rubber mixed with acrylic would be lasting up to six years. And before it is damaged, can be removed to be replaced new.

No one knows how it happened until right ear Elise damaged by pouring hot water. The doctors thought he might be hot water washed down from the top of the head until the water melts into the right side.

What is clear, thanks to the hard work of Dr. Schoendorf and Dr. McClennen that make ear molds that last June, and the efforts of Dr. David Kaylie who installed the titanium in the skull as an anchor ear a few months earlier, Elise ear can return.
